Francis Schlosser was an officer in over his head. In 1761, the 60th Regiment’s young ensign arrived at Fort St. Joseph (where Niles, MI is now located) in command of it’s small British garrison. He lost not time offending nearly everyone. Learn how his inexperience, incompetence and arrogance ended in disaster two years later.
