Our Great Lakes are inland seas that hold 20% of the world’s surface fresh water. Michiganders have the privilege of being stewards of this unparalleled resource providing drinking water, fishing and hunting opportunities, recreation, and transportation.
In this presentation Steve Ruberg of NOAA's Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory will talk about the geology, waves, currents, temperatures, and biology of the Great Lakes and the changes that are impacting this unique and valuable region of our country.
